Hi girls since my last post around a month ago I totally stopped eating grains and I have lost 10 pounds in one month I am so happy. I am now back to weighing 360 which is where I stopped last year. At this rate my weightloss will be awsome and I should hopefully loose a hundred pounds this year. I hope to loose at least 50 pounds by my birthday in a few months.
Right now I eat lots of fruits, vegetables, meat and dairy. The weight is just falling off without trying and I am never hungry. I think I was just allergic to gluten because every time I ate grains my tonsils would swell up and I had the worst stomach pain. After I stopped eating grains I no longer have that horrible stomach pain. I also dont eat fried foods which I think is helping me not have stomach pains since I dont have a gallbladder. I only drink water or fresh juice, I never really drank soda too much so that wasnt an issue for me. I also love to drink lots of tea and my favorite is black tea and honey vanilla chamomile.
Here are examples of what I eat
- Breakfast 1 : Eggs, bacon, chunk of cheese and some yogurt
- Breakfast 2: Half a watermelon or a bunch of bananas or 3 oranges
- Breakfast 3: Chia seed pudding soaked in almond milk with bananas
- Lunch 1: Smoothie
- Lunch 2: Vegetable soup
- Lunch 3: Some fruit, trail mix or a salad
- Dinner 1: Chicken and broccoli
- Dinner 2: Soup
- Dinner 3: Steak with asparagus and other veggies
So this year I am excited because everything is falling into place.
Happy new year to everybody. Its been a while since I wrote a blog post. So many things have happened lately with the ups and downs of life. I just walked two miles and I decided to commit to walking those 2 miles at least 5 times a week. I want to lose this weight so badly and Im just tired of not living the life that I truly want. I will receiving my first college degree soon and I am so happy. I’ve had a lot of changes this year and today when I went for that walk I felt like myself again.
It took me around 45 to 50 minutes to walk those two miles plus the 8 flights of stairs up and down my apartment building. Im taking one step at a time and with Gods help every day will be a better day.
Love you all and God bless you
I love chia seeds and they have tons of health benefits. My favorite way to use them is in my smoothies to make them thicker. Most people just use the whole chia seeds to make chia gel. My trick is to grind up the chia seeds to make chia flour. When you grind them up you release the delicious chia oil. It actually gives you that stick to your ribs feeling that oatmeal gives.
So lets get straight to it, this is my updated weight
So I recently had my birthday and I turned 29 and that means only a year left in my 20’s and 1 year until I hit the big 3-0. I cant believe in one year I will be turning 30. I dont know what it is about that number but it just all of a sudden made me look at my life totally differently. I know I want to make a drastic change and continue my weight loss because I will not continue having an unhealthy body. I want to experience all the things I’ve always wanted to do but my weight was stopping me. I also want to be married and have kids and I will not let my weight damage those prospects. So I hope in this upcoming year to lose as much weight as possible. I’ve been doing good but I could be doing better so this year I will be pushing myself even harder. I also want to lose the weight slowly so that my skin and my body has time to adjust. I really dont want surgery so I think if I lose the weight slower I might not have to.
As women we all want to make ourselves more physically beautiful. We usually forget about the basics and instead try to cover up the issues. So here are my tips and remember that the fountain of youth was always in our hands. Inner beauty is always more important than outer beauty but the physical matters as well and we can not ignore that fact. You only get one time to make a first impression.
The Beauty Basics
Fresh Air – Make sure you go out and get fresh air. So many women only stay in the house, or at work cooped up inside the whole day. Your body needs fresh air in order to function properly. When your cells are healthy, your body will be more beautiful.
Sun – Make sure to get enough sunshine everyday. The sun provides vitamin D so you must get around 15 minutes to 30 minutes of sunshine per day. Then make sure to protect your skin from the sun by using sunblocks that will protect you from skin damage that causes aging.
Water – Drink lots and lots of clean pure water every single day. Your body needs water to function properly. When you are well hydrated your skin will be more supple and soft and will make you look more beautiful.
Beauty Sleep – As you sleep your body heals and regenerates. So you must strive to get the recommended 8 hours of sleep.
